| Bio: | Where do I start? A name. Yes. That's a good idea. My name is Blake, I am 23, and this is my Livejournal. I currently reside in my own place on the richer side of the tracks in the glorious City of Adelaide, in South Australia. Online, I use the monikers of Shiro, Shiro Senshi or Shiro Senshi Esquire - these I created during a short phase where I was largely obsessed with Japan and Japanese culture. Unlike my previous online aliases, created during obsessions with Egyptian mythology and English mythology, these ones I decided to not delete, having had the aliases for about five years, I figure that instead of changing it to any new obsession, I'll just leave it as it is to save the effort of changing a million online things. I've now been accepted for an excellent position working for an inbound call centre. I'll be answering phonecalls and emails (but mostly emails) for billing, information and sales. A lucrative, cushy position which far exceeds any previous job I've had. When I'm not at work I'm generally at home. I spend most of my (free) time reading, writing, playing videogames, watching DVD's, listening to music and working on my Storyverse, known as ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} agyrica.Currently - Reading: Something From The Nightside, by Simon R. Green Penny Arcade Volume II: Epic Legends of the Magic Sword Kings, by Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik Writing: Not as much as I'd hope. My PC is dead in the water, and laptops are terrible for writing. I am, however, slowly working on details for my Storyverse, agyricaPlaying: Silent Hill Watching: Alias: Season Two, and Inspector Gadget the Original Series One. I'm generally a very odd person. I like pirates, ninjas, Cthulhu and Doctor Who. Life with my friends is a long string of movie and TV references and in-jokes. People tend to think I'm quirky, or a freak: Which one are you? I am also painfully logical, and can recall things you'd assume I'd forgotten for years to come. On that note, I'm generally a very snarky person. A lot of people in the past have taken this to be negative or hateful, but I am neither. My usual snarky witticisms, coupled with my generally quiet dispositions, tend to land me in hot water - though I usually don't care, since people that take offense are usually stupid or lounge-chair activists. People also tend to be under the belief that I don't have anything nice to say about anything - I do like that they provide me with someone to laugh at. Though I do dislike many things, the biggest ones tend to include sore losers; boastful winners; people that make no attempt at correct spelling and grammar; emo kids; lounge-chair activists/complainers; people that honestly believe that they're right, when they aren't; people that use terms like narcissist, conformist, sheep, capitalist or fascist when describing myself or others; people that have 'friending criteria,' for people that want to be on their friends list and that won't buy from or have some sort of unjustified dislike for large corporations. I usually post random accounts of my day. Sometimes some amusing conversation. Sometimes links. No pretentious and wanky lyrics or poems, and very few memes.
